She has a BA in Writing/English from Queens College, and graduated Phi Theta Kappa Magna Cum Laude in Fashion Apparel Design.

After graduating college she worked in a family business with her mother and sister, under the label Dreams. She designed and manufactured couture dresses and accessories which have been in magazines, on the covers of trade journals, and sold nationwide.

“For my second book, Suburban Weird, I felt inspired to write something modern and volatile. I wanted to explore emotions and the seduction of circumstance. What happens when a woman settles on her spouse only to find herself obsessing over her husband’s brother? When Courtney is tested in this situation, the Stein family’s special blend of idiosyncrasies makes for an unforgettable outcome.”
